Just sitting in my kitchen right now, looking out the window, coffee beside me, writing my new novel. Yes, you read correctly, my new new novel. It is my first attempt at writing a book, but as an unemployed writing obsessed chick-lit lover, I have really enjoyed myself today. Started at 9:00 this morning, and I already have 1000+ words written! I think there is a story inside me just dying to get out.
Anyways, back to looking out the kitchen window. The weather has been so random today. One minute it has been sunny, the next blusteringly windy. You know what this makes me dream of? Joe Fresh's Leopard coat. I jumped on the faux fur bandwagon last year and purchased Talula's vest, but this piece by Joe Fresh may take its' place in my heart as my go-to cuddly and stylish pick. I plan on pairing it with my Frye Engineer boots and black Current Elliot Jeggings. Perfection. Maybe I can write about my fashionista main character wearing it? Hmm, it's a possibility!
Until later, dream big readers! I know weather like this can be a downer, but turn it into something positive, and dream about your ideal cozy fall piece.

Currently dreaming of...
I hope everyone is relaxed and happy after this past Labour Day long weekend! The weather was a little dreary, but it gave me a chance to bust out the fall clothes, which is a time of year I always look forward to! My weekend was filled with flannel, chunky knits, candy apples and a demolition derby. Exciting eh?!
Most notably though, I saw my pilot boyfriend's brother off to university. It was his first day yesterday, so his family and I moved him into the very same residence I moved into just 4 years ago. Being inside again felt a little creepy- I could swear I was just living there yesterday but it was in fact so long ago. Oh, to be full of hope and promise once again.
So today, my dream centres around yesterday's unpacking. I have been day dreaming non stop since the car ride home from Waterloo of a job. A good job. A dream job. No one heads off to university thinking that they'll be graduated and unemployed four years after they begin to shell out thousands for tuition. I have studied hard, volunteered and worked in a great job every summer since I was 18 years old. I dream that soon, those efforts will be recognized so that I can begin my new life as an entry level communications employee.
My rant for the day, fellow dreamers. Oh, and if you are in the very envious position of my brother from another mother mentioned above- enjoy it. University (or college, whatever you choose) flies by ever so quickly. Take advantage of every opportunity that arises, and go out every night that you can with your friends. Soon, you too will feel like a grown up taking on the world, and it's scary.
